Accounts
Web sign-in is on its way.
Australia Speaks is in early access, and there’s no web log-in yet — here’s what exists today, and what’s coming.
In the app, you’re signed in without an account
The Australia Speaks app registers your device anonymously the first time you open it — no email address or password needed. That’s part of the privacy promise: we couldn’t link your identity to a vote even if we wanted to, because an anonymous device identity is never stored with any vote.
If you want your place to follow you to a new phone, the app lets you add an optional account — email and password, Sign in with Apple, or Sign in with Google. An account keeps your settings and the list of bills you’ve voted on; it never links who you are to how you voted, and that separation is built into the database itself. Accounts are created, managed and deleted inside the app for now.
Web sign-in will appear on this page when Australia Speaks opens publicly.
Already in the early-access group and having trouble with the app? Email hello@australiaspeaks.au and a person will help.
